Ellie Herman Pilates Masters Program
Learn from a Master Instructor with over 35 years experience. Ellie is an innovator and leader in the Pilates world who has devoted her life to the art and science of Pilates. Join her community and share the joy! The Masters Program is online throughout the year and will include a weekend Intensive Pilates retreat in the Catskills.
Dear Pilates Instructors,
Thank you for your interest in my Pilates Masters Program. This one-year program will be online for those who don’t live near Philly, and in-person for anyone who wants to join me in the Narberth studio. (You could visit for some of it if you want!). The program includes a weekend Pilates Retreat in the Catskills where we can all meet in person.
Space is limited.
The main reason I developed this program is because I see a great need for Pilates teachers to have a mentor and to learn more about anatomy and rehabilitation.
The program is especially geared toward those who want to build their private practice, which in the end is the bread and butter for Instructors who are doing Pilates as their long term career. Trainers in my studios who have rehabilitation knowledge always have a full schedule!
The program will provide a community where we can all share our questions and concerns. I will be available to answer any questions you have.
Over the past 35 years I have opened eight Pilates Studios (2 in San Francisco, 1 in Oakland, 4 in Brooklyn and 1 in Narberth) and know a lot about the business of pilates, how to negotiate rent, how to purchase a building for a studio, how to pay instructors fairly, how to retain instructors and how to run a profitable studio.
I look forward to sharing all my knowledge with you!
Please reach out if you have any questions; narberth@elliehermanpilates.com.
Warmly,
Ellie Herman

Each lecture will end with a case study relevant to the lecture (ie a person with a shoulder problem for the shoulder month). Students will follow up with a Pilates program for that client using all the different pieces of Pilates equipment to address the client’s issue
Private Zoom Meetings with Ellie where you will present your case studies and receive feedback on your teaching and programming. These private sessions are also a time to ask Ellie her opinion about anything Pilates related.
Final Project
Client Case Studies: Students will write 3 Case Studies of your clients who have an injury or condition. You will research the topic and come up with an 8-week program for them. 1 Case Study will be shared with the group at the end of the year.
