How to begin Pilates at our Studio.
If you have any questions, please feel free to text the Studio at 610-787-0037.
The Reformer classes are the only classes that require either a private session or the Intro to Pilates Class. If you’ve been on the Reformer you can come to any class. If you haven’t been on the Reformer you can come to any non-Reformer class.
Read below for more details…

Private Sessions
Private sessions are the best way to be introduced to Pilates equipment and Pilates concepts. You will be taught basic alignment, core activation and most importantly you will get an assessment on your body. Private sessions are required for anyone with chronic pain and injuries. Reformer Classes
Because the Reformer is a complicated piece of equipment we ask clients new to the Reformer to either take 1 Private Session, or the Free Intro to Pilates Class Saturdays at Noon or Pilates for Everybody classes offered Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays at 11am and Sundays at Noon.
After one of these beginning classes ask the instructor if they feel you are ready to join a Mixed Level Class.

Pilates Springboard & Ellie Herman Method Classes
The “non-reformer” classes do not require any prerequisites. Everyone is welcome unless you have an injury that limits you.
Pilates Springboard was invented by Ellie herself and is a dynamic spring-based piece of equipment. The classes consist of dynamic combinations that work on strength, balance and coordination.
The Ellie Herman Method is an evolved Barre class with props and free weights. Lunges, squats, planks and low impact cardio make for a great mix!
They are all mixed-level and everyone is welcome!
