MUSCLES OF THE TORSO

Understanding the major muscles of the torso on a Maniken® model allows you to observe movement from a different point of view. Placing, sensing, and observing the layers of the spine and core will help you integrate the material. Movements will then be experienced to support these new x-ray eyes.

MUSCLES OF THE LOWER LIMB

Using the Maniken® we will explore the muscles of the femur and knee and its relationship to the pelvis and feet. We will combine this kinesthetic awareness to practical exercises. Going back and forth between the model and movement, we will then become aware of the layering of the deep to superficial muscles.

MUSCLES OF THE UPPER LIMB

Using the Manikin® we will explore the muscles of the three dimensional perspective of the shoulder girdle and humeral bone and how it connects us to our hand. Noticing the bones and muscles and then experiencing the movement will deepen the integration of this wonderful body that we have.
